As our newest and most popular option is Imaginative Play where the children are free to explore their imagination in any way they choose to. Our unique, individualized lessons for each child also helps them to advance to the next level.

Depending on our daily schedule, our Outdoor Play time will keep the children exploring new ways to play. No matter what your child may need, our program/curriculum will provide the support and tools necessary for optimal growth.

Meet The Owner
Where My Passion For Children Came From
I had a dream, at the age of 12, of becoming an entrepreneur. It all started with an ad in the Potpourri paper in San Jose advertising my babysitting services. I was flooded with calls from families who wanted to meet me and selecting me to care for their children. The response for care was so overwhelming that I had to get several of my friends to help with the workload. Business was steady and each one of my friends involved had a client whom they cared for their kids every weekend and occasionally during the weeknight. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces and the excitement they had every time I spent with them made me fall in love with working with children.
After graduating from Grambling State University in 1997 and receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and Business Management I went to work in Corporate America. I realized within the first few years that I was very unhappy with my career choice and needed to get back to what I was extremely passionate about which is children.
In September 2004, I applied for my home daycare license and was approved to begin caring for children almost immediately. Business was slow at first because I needed to get my name out there and get people to trust me. Soon after that, business took off tremendously and my Yelp reviews are the reason why families flock to my home daycare facility.
Today, I have been providing licensed childcare for children of all ages for over 19 years. I specialize in children with Autism and ADHD with on file certifications. I offer Arts & Crafts, Music & Body Movement activities, Spanish learning activities 2 days a week, a curriculum for shapes, colors, counting, alphabets, reading readiness, math readiness, writing visual arts, science, self-direction, logic and fine motor skills. I also assist with potting training and homework studies. Meals and snacks are also provided.

Little Blessings Daycare is truly a blessing in its own and to the children it serves. The daycare owner/professional, Helana, is not only licensed in her field but she is also experienced in sincere caring and "motherly love". She cares for the needs, well-being and safety for each and every one of her clients; she works with the parents by being flexible; and she adds an educational component to her services.
